In 2018 I began teaching Costumes and Adornment at Country Day Creative Arts, New Orleans’ top summer program for artists ages 7-14. With 80 creative teachers, it is a gentle 5-week boot camp that has operated for 40 years.  Ideally, working with such young and emerging artists feels like stepping into a time machine and challenges me to examine my own process and creative blindspots. Over time my curriculum has expanded to Cork and Cardboard based crafting and a Fridays-only sensory party experience for small children called Club Watermelon.
